My name is Daniel Cook. I’m am currently completing my Final Year thesis with Advanced Navigation on Magnetometer Noise Rejection. Previously I was in the role of Chief Engineer of the USYD Rocketry Team, a student-run and led organisation created to build sounding rockets for international competitions.

I’m currently available for graduate roles in summer 2024

I’m currently based in Sydney but am able to work well online and am open to discussions about moving for the right opportunity.

I am currently in my last year at The University of Sydney in a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Project management. I am specialized in mechatronics and am majoring in Space Engineering. During my degree, I have had the opportunity to work on many projects both as a part of my curricular activities, and also by applying myself for extra-curricular activities such as leading the engineering team within the USYD Rocketry Team.

More recently I have also had the opportunity to work for Advanced Navigation as a member of their INS R&D Embedded Engineering Team. In this role, I have had the opportunity to develop drivers for platforms like ROS and Ardupilot.

I am highly driven and am always striving to reach new heights! If you want to reach out and ask any questions please feel free to contact me via email or phone.
